Digital Solutions Business Analyst


As Business Analyst, you play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions.

You are responsible for solution alignment with the requirements and the global consistency of the Product and its ecosystem. You work closely with the Product Owner, the Solution Owner, the UX designer, and the SCOR markets to analyze business processes, identify opportunities for improvement (defining requirements and refining the product backlog),

and translate complex requirements into clear and concise specifications to design and deliver the product. You have a direct impact on the successful delivery of the various projects and the overall efficiency of our organization.

You ensure the final product is compliant with the requirements, IT policies and meets the targeted quality of services. More specifically, you assess and challenge the different change requests, clarify the requirements as needed, evaluate and specify the impacts on the system. You support the delivery cycle from business specifications and processes to final testing campaign and release in Production. You ensure product compliance and security in accordance with the requirements of SCOR’s guidelines and framework. You have an active role in the incident management process (functional troubleshooting, workaround, communication to end-users) and in continuously improving the quality of the product.

You will join SCOR IT department (more than 200 employees across the globe) and

will be able to grow and evolve in a global and very dynamic structure

providing innovative products, services, and support to all SCOR Group worldwide. Responsibilities

The scope of duties & responsibilities is large and includes: Requirements : Conduct in-depth interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather Business Requirements (BR), Analyze business processes and identify areas for improvement, Formalize detailed process flows, data flow diagrams, and use case diagrams to visualize business processes, develop conceptual data models to represent data structures, Produce and review functional and non-functional requirements. Agile Delivery : Support PO and SO in stocking and grooming product backlog to define and prioritize Sprint content, Structure the works in User Story (US) and detail them based on validated requirements respecting UX framework toolkit and all elements required for development team. Solution design, testing and implementation support: Contribute to system design and collaborate with technical teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications, Manage Product Acceptance from strategy to execution, maintaining and enriching the test-case referential, organize and support internal and external end users for testing campaign. Prepare and execute User Acceptance Testing to ensure product quality and coverage of the requirements (tests scenarios, tests data, test cases, etc.), Change management: Define with the PO the change management strategy (communication, training, support, documentation, …) to ensure a good adoption of the product, Deliver trainings under various formats, produce business releases documentation and operational tool manual. Incident management and support: Contribute to the platform operations (incl. functional administration) Contribute to incident management process (functional troubleshooting, communication to users, ...) Governance and reporting: Contribute to governance instances preparation Report efficiently on a regular basis to PO and SO on Sprint activities progress and follow-up, raise potential risks & main issues encountered (velocity, scope, delays, quality, resources, etc.), Qualifications

Required experience & competencies Experience Proven work experience as Business Analyst (at least 5 years in the function) on complex IT systems, preferably in insurance industry, in an international environment, Extensive experience in following phases of the Software Delivery Life Cycle: requirements gathering, solution specification, testing, change management and business user support, Hard Skills Ability to challenge business needs and design solutions maximizing the business value in a dynamic, complex and moving environment. Ability to federate and drive the squad to deliver accordingly to requirements in a very digital environment (cloud native applications, API, UX/UI...) Capacity to work and develop the usage of agile methodology, tools and mindset. Used to working in a cross-cultural and business-oriented environment, with IT skills. Ability to work within a distributed delivery model, with internal and/or external contributors. Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Fluent English skills (oral & written). Tools : Agile & collaboration

: Azure DevOps, MS Teams and SharePoint, Testing

: Testplan, or similar ones (Test Director, Quality Center & Spira) Ticketing solution : Service Now. Capacity to use PowerBI, SQL, Elastic Cloud to build reports and support solution delivery. Required Education and Qualifications: Higher education in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
