Your Role As a
Back-End Engineer
, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the
core backend services
of our web platform. You will collaborate closely with the front-end team to ensure seamless integration and contribute to building a
scalable, secure, and high-performance architecture
. Key Responsibilities API Development:
Build secure and efficient
APIs
using
Django
&
Node.js Front-End Collaboration:
Work with
Next.js
developers for smooth integration Algorithm Implementation:
Improve
signal processing & optimization
algorithms Containerization:
Configure and optimize
Docker environments
for deployment Infrastructure & Routing:
Manage routing rules with
Traefik & Nginx Performance Optimization:
Identify & resolve performance bottlenecks Security:
Implement best practices to
protect user data Documentation:
Contribute to tech discussions & document architectures, APIs, and workflows
Who You Are We are looking for an
experienced
and
technically solid
engineer with at least
5 years of experience
in web platform development. Required Skills ✅
Django
(Python web framework) ✅
Numpy/Scipy
for scientific computing ✅
Next.js
(understanding front-end & back-end interactions) ✅
Containerization with Docker ✅
Reverse proxies
(Traefik, Nginx) ✅
Databases
(PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis) ✅
Version Control (Git) & CI/CD workflows ✅
Application Security & Access Management ✅
Server Deployment Experience ✅
Familiarity with AWS or equivalent cloud platforms Scientific Background Required GIS (Geospatial Data) experience is a plus!
