reinforce our performance, bring more value to our customers, invent smart living, inspire and commit. More than 140 people in Europe, Asia, and Africa compose Somfy Purchasing Department. To prepare and drive the function for our 2030 Ambition plan, this organization recruits. Within our Purchasing Excellence Organization, you will lead transformation projects that will boost the overall performance of the Purchasing Community and thrive the future trends of the function. On your projects, you will drive the excellence of the function. You will build, develop and capitalize the expertise in your field of activities. In more detail: Define and deploy lean purchasing processes with associated indicators. Ensure their adoption within a plan, do, check, act mindset. Drive the digitalization of the processes and implement Information System tools accordingly. Use digitalization and data as levers and accelerators. Animate the Purchasing Academy to develop the community competencies. Specify or build new training modules, train buyers on rules, processes, tools, methodology, and modeling. Manage cost and carbon modeling activities to help optimize prices and carbon footprint. Identify new opportunities. Drive audits at our suppliers’ plants to establish their cost structure. Some examples of transformation projects held by the Group Excellence Purchasing Direction: Commodity strategies Contractualization framework & delegation of Authority Management: Transversal: interaction with all purchasing community and business partners Coordination with the 4 purchasing excellence project leaders in excellence and Cost Leadership teams. Education / Work Experience Min. 5 years of experience in a global Purchasing environment, ideally in the industry sector. Technical / Professional Skills Proven mastery of purchasing core processes. Experience in Purchasing Information System implementation would be a plus (SAP). Recognized experience in project management. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Excellent analytical skills. Ability to analyze and model industrial manufacturing processes. You are a change leader, able to drive transformation and lead teams. You can animate, coordinate, and develop a community in a multi-cultural environment (project excellence leaders, purchasing managers, operational teams, Business Partners). You are results and performance-oriented, with a high spirit of cooperation. Permanent position based in Cluses. Hybrid remote/office (90 days/year). Travels (max 30%).
