Post-Doctoral Position: Collaboration and Innovation in Diverse Teams
DEPARTMENT:Organisational Behaviour
LOCATION: Europe Campus
CONTRACT: Full Time
START DATE (Latest): September 2025
REFERENCE: POSTTEAM (Email subject must include reference)
The Organisational Behaviour area and the INSEAD Gender Initiative are seeking a full-time Postdoctoral Fellow at INSEAD’s campus in France starting September 2025 (or earlier) to work with Professors Kaisa Snellman and Sujin Jang on research projects on collaboration and innovation in diverse teams. The projects examine how different aspects of team diversity (e.g., cultural, cognitive, gender diversity) shape the dynamics and performance of teams engaged in creative work and complex problem-solving. Specifically, we will examine these questions in two contexts: a one-week international hackathon with diverse teams tackling complex challenges and academic teams competing for scientific grants.
The ideal candidate for this Postdoctoral Fellow will be a recent PhD graduate or a doctoral candidate who is close to defending their dissertation with a deep interest and expertise in teams and diversity.
The INSEAD OB area has 28 permanent faculty members. We conduct research on a variety of phenomena including discrimination, decision-making, leadership, dispute resolution, negotiations, creativity, teams, careers, identity, diversity, networks, innovation, change, culture, hierarchy, organisational structure and design, inequality, status, and power. We also study meta-science and methodological issues.
