Mode Search is partnering with a Premium Fashion Brand to find an experienced Wholesale Director to lead the South Europe and Middle East markets. As Wholesale Director, you will be responsible for driving regional sales growth, strengthening key account relationships, and executing strategic market expansion. This role requires a dynamic and commercially astute leader with extensive experience in wholesale management within the premium fashion industry. This role is office-based 4 days a week / 1 from home and will include weekly/frequent travel to key markets. Responsibilities Develop and implement the wholesale strategy for the South European and Middle Eastern markets to drive revenue growth and brand positioning. Manage and nurture key wholesale partnerships, ensuring strong commercial relationships with leading retailers and department stores. Oversee sales performance, forecasting, and budgeting, aligning with company objectives. Lead seasonal go-to-market strategies, including product presentations, sell-in, and negotiations. Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behaviour to identify new business opportunities. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, marketing, and finance, to enhance brand presence and commercial success. Ensure operational excellence in wholesale processes, from assortment planning to order fulfilment. Manage and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and results-driven performance. Requirements Extensive experience in wholesale management within the premium or luxury fashion industry, ideally with multi-market exposure across South Europe and the Middle East. Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record in sales growth, strategic planning, and account management. Established relationships with key retailers, department stores, and online platforms in the region. Excellent negotiation and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Leadership experience, with the ability to develop and inspire high-performing teams. Analytical mindset, with the ability to translate data and market insights into strategic actions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and wholesale management systems. Fluent in French and English; Italian is an advantage. Flexibility for international travel as required.
