What the job looks like
Each day you'll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:
Oversee the IT service portfolio for Research, ensuring alignment with business needs and strategic priorities
Manage and optimize budget, resources, and assets to support business objectives
Define and communicate IT product scope, objectives, and requirements in collaboration with stakeholders
Develop and maintain the IT product vision, goals, and roadmap
Collaborate with IT Consultants and Process Owners to create and prioritize user stories
Validate IT product design and architecture with the IT Service Owner to meet business needs
Review and approve deliverables, ensuring quality standards and acceptance criteria are met
Provide ongoing feedback to project teams and stakeholders on progress, issues, and risks
What you'll bring to the table
To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:
Minimum 8 years of experience, working in life science technology environment, preference in scientific technology
Masters’ degree or equivalent experience in science, engineering, computing, bioinformatic, or similar
Track record in successful Digital and IT strategy development, solution design, program and project delivery and service management across multiple functions
Solid knowledge of Pharma Development IT solutions, challenges and trends within the industry (e.g. Knowledge of the Development landscape and processes for digital products - Computational platform, PBPK modelling & simulation, Clinical Trial Design, Explorative Data science, Clinical data science (warehouse, bigdata platform), eTMF, R&D Advanced analytics solutions)
Fluent in business English, German is a plus
Proven skills in project/product mgmt. teamwork, leadership
Proven experience in project management of large, complex projects, working in a matrix organization with cross-functional teams
A customer-centric mindset and a passion for innovation and problem-solving
