About The Position
As part of the growing in-house creative team, managed by the Creative Director and the Head of Europe, the architectural designer / scenographer is responsible for the creative development of new events and scenographic projects.
He/She follows their deployment in the production phase with the project management teams and suppliers, to ensure the correct realisation of all aspects of the project.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and study client briefs and set out a creative framework within the deadlines
Do creative research in images, references, materials, and construction methods
Carry out functional architectural studies based on the initial briefs
Provide 2D drawings, 3D models, renderings and visualizations to illustrate different ideas
Propose ideas within budget and technical constraints and do adaptations if necessary
Work on client presentations (page settings & oral presentation)
Work in collaboration with the project management team during the pre-production phase and on site
Ensure the design is followed and respected throughout the production phase
Collaborate with external consultants (3D artists, light designers, sound designers, digital artists, suppliers, etc) as required to support timely delivery of projects.
Qualifications
~ University degree in Architecture/Interior Design or related fields
~3 to 5 years relevant and trackable experience working within the Event Design field
~ Strong verbal communication and graphic presentation skills
~ An eye for detail and passion for the Arts / Interiors / Architecture and Design
~ Proactive and highly organized
~ Able to work independently, but also collaboratively within the team
~ Able to read and interpret architectural drawings
~ Strong 2D drawing skills (Vectorworks/Autocad)
~ Strong 3D drawing and visualization skills (Sketchup / Rhinoceros and 3D rendering programs: Vray/ Enscape/ Keyshot/ C4D or similar)
~ Hand drawing skills is a plus
~ French and English written and spoken
