Junior Buyer (Food)

About the position:

We are seeking a dynamic Jr Buyer to join our team and support our Supply Chian, Procurement and Logistics Department. The resource will support the Sr Buyer in procurement processes within QSRP in particular managing food and packaging categories.

This is what you will be doing:

• Manage a spend portfolio of EUR 20 to 50m of food or/& packaging categories
• Define and Lead the full commercial process for business allocation: launch of RFQs, negotiations with suppliers, contract negotiation, monitoring of suppliers performance, etc.
• Define sourcing strategies
• Manage strategic supplier relationships
• Develop expert knowledge on your categories, having a full understanding of the industry end to end

This is what you bring on board:

• A Bachelor degree in Business Administration or Business Engineering
• A master degree within procurement, supply chain, or Food and Beverage
• 1 years of experience in a buyer role, ideally in the QSR industry or Food Industry, HO.RE.CA or distribution/food sectors.
• Fluency in English (C1);
• Fluency in French or other laguages of the group (Dutch, German & Italian) will be considered a plus,
• Good analytical skills and eye for detail,
• Negotiation and Commercial Attitude
• Assertiveness, Result-Oriented approach
• Knowledge of Excel
• Availability to work from our GFS Logistics HQ in Antony (Hauts-de-Seine)
• Availability to travel from time to time in different countries of the group (Italy, France, Belgium, UK, Germany, Austria)
