Senior Director, Communications

Join Arm and Shape the Future of Hardware Flows and Methodologies Arm’s Productivity Engineering team is looking for an experienced, collaborative, and people-focused Senior Director of Flows and Methodologies. In this high-impact leadership role, you will guide a world-class team of front-end and back-end engineers to deliver tools, flows, and standards that support innovation and scale across Arm’s IP and SoC teams. We create and maintain automation tools, flows, and infrastructure for IP and SoC design, verification, and performance modelling. Responsibilities: Lead the creation and improvement of scalable hardware design methodologies and automation environments. Define and implement flows and methodologies for RTL design, verification, performance modelling, physical implementation, and post-silicon validation. Partner with leading EDA vendors to explore and test new tools and technologies. Collaborate across engineering teams to understand evolving needs and deliver tailored, high-impact solutions. Coach and mentor engineers; help your team grow and succeed in both front-end and back-end domains. Required Skills and Experience : An MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Deep understanding of performance modelling, power analysis, and scaling challenges at advanced nodes. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence technical direction across an organization.
