Logistics Procurement Manager: Road Transportation – Paris (Hybrid) – €75,000-€80,000 + package

Note: Professional proficiency in both French and English is essential for this position.

A leading global business is transforming their logistics procurement function and seek a strong logistics procurement professional, with some experience sourcing Road Transportation, to design logistics sourcing strategy for the business and manage a significant spend across Distribution, Transportation and Warehousing.

This customer-centric business is keen to maximise the value of strategic procurement in order to deliver maximum value for consumers globally. You will be in charge of managing and introducing new suppliers, creating logistics procurement processes across the global business and working with the world-class strategic procurement team to ensure successful customer journeys and to create top line value.

The ideal applicant will have expert logistics knowledge and strategic sourcing/category management experience across the logistics category. The role will see you work with a broad range of stakeholders across various business units, so a strong communicator is essential. The business is growing rapidly so somebody with a keen interest in continuous improvement, streamlining procurement for growth and driving both change and sustainability would be an ideal candidate for this exciting position.

Logistics Procurement Manager: Road Transportation key responsibilities:

• Create logistics procurement category strategy and implement innovations across the business
• Build lasting and effective relationships with new and existing suppliers, as well as with key internal functions (logistics, distribution, etc)
• Benchmark supplier performance and deliver value-add initiatives in partnership with key suppliers

Experience required:

• Strong strategic sourcing experience and a strong, expert level knowledge of logistics & transportation.
• Effective communication across different levels and functions of business
• Appetite and desire to drive large-scale, transformative change withing both procurement and logistics functions.
• French language proficiency is essential.
